The Region of Waterloo Airport is bordered by the Cities of Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo as well as the townships of North Dumfries, Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich. With a combined population of over 450,000, Waterloo Region is one of the fastest growing areas in Ontario.

The Region offers a unique blend of modern, energetic urban centres and scenic, rural landscapes, which makes it a perfect location for helicopter flight training.

Oktoberfest

Since 1969, Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest has developed its own traditions, becoming the largest Bavarian festival in North America with the greatest Thanksgiving Day Parade in Canada. Thousands of visitors celebrate annually in our Festhallen, and by attending one or more of our 40 family and cultural events. Through the celebration of this Spirit of Gemuetlichkeit, the local economy is stimulated and over 70 charities and not-for-profit organizations raise funds to support the high quality of life enjoyed in Kitchener-Waterloo. St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market

Every week, hundreds of vendors bring you Ontario’s farm-fresh foods, crafts, imported goods, and most things imaginable. You’ll also find amazing ready-to-eat foods, so bring your appetite!

Market vendors are located in a variety of buildings, and in a lively outdoor area where you’ll find an eclectic mix of fruits and vegetables from local growers, producers, and Old Order Mennonite farmers, plus crafts, a quality flea market, and petting farm.

The Peddler’s Village building boasts delectable foods, home decor, arts & crafts, and more.
